At this moment, we are seeking an Application Support Engineer in Brussels. In this role, you will ensure the optimal functional operation of critical applications while monitoring and maintaining the supporting IT infrastructure. You will handle incidents, service requests, and database-related tasks, working closely with a multicultural team.
Requirements
• Application Support: Guarantee the smooth, functional performance of business applications.
• Incident & Service Management: Diagnose issues, resolve incidents, and process service requests promptly.
• Infrastructure Monitoring & Maintenance: Perform regular performance checks and ensure the stability of the IT infrastructure.
• Database Support: Execute SQL queries and basic DBA-related tasks.
• Tool Usage: Manage incidents and tasks using Jira.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
• Ability to work 3 days per week on site in Brussels.
• Fluency in English plus Dutch and/or French (spoken and written).
• Proven experience in support engineering, including incident diagnosis and service request management.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure monitoring and performance checking.
• Hands-on experience with Jira.
• SQL skills for database administration or related support tasks.
